The Ethiopian Black Jews – Bete Israel lived in Ethiopia for centuries maintaining Jewish religious practices of the ancient Israelis.
• A large number to Israel on two occasions called ‘Operation Moses’ in 1984 and Operation Solomon’ on 24th May 1984 and ‘Operation Solomon’ on 24th May, 1991.
• Currently, a few remain in Ethiopia.

• She took caravan of 700 camels and other beasts of burden loaded with 120 talents of gold, timber of rare trees, ivory, precious stones, spices and very great deal of Balsam oil as gifts for him.
• 1 talent =34.2 kilograms, current value approximately over 200 million US $ of gold.

• Apart from being the mace bearer and steward of the Prophet, he had the duty of waking him up early in the morning for prayer.
• Bilalal was also the first to say aloud “Allah hu Akbar!” the Muslim call for prayers.
• Thus he became the first muezzin in the world.
• Prophet Muhammed wet nurse was an Ethiopian named Baraka or Umm Ayman.
