‘Mornga’ ( Stenopetala) is a Miracle Laef grown in
Southern Ethiopia. A gram of Moringa provides seven
times the vitamin C of Oranges, four times the postassium
of bananas, four times the fiber of oats, 14 times of the
Calcium of milk nine times the iron of spinach, twice.
the vitamin of carrots and twice the protein of yogurt.
 It is used as a food contains ninety nutrients and
forty six antioxidants.
 This plant has more than 13 species and is alos grown
in certain othet parts of the world.

 Nine historical sites of Ethiopia are registered on UNESCO’s
World Heritage list .

 Lake Tana is the largest lake with 37 islands of which
20 islands have churches and monasteries of great
historical and cultural interest.
 Lake Abaya in Arbaminch is not only the largest but
also the longest in the Ethiopian Rife Valley.
 At Lake Abaya and Lake Chamo (an angler’s paradise)
one can fish the Nile perch’ which could weigh 100
kilograms and also catch the fighting ‘Tiger fish.
 Lake shalla is the deepest lake with a depth of 260
meters.
 Lake Langano is the only lake with a sandy beach and
is ideal for swimming and boating .
